Chicken Lo Mein
Soft egg noodles tossed in a glossy soy and oyster sauce with tender chicken, snow peas, cabbage and carrots.
- Better than takeout
- Crisp-tender vegetables
- Fifteen minutes of cooking
This takeout classic is even better from your own stove, and it comes together in about 15 minutes of cooking. A quick cornstarch and soy marinade keeps the chicken silky, while a splash of dark soy gives the noodles their rich mahogany color. Keep the heat high and the vegetables crisp. It is a smart way to use up whatever produce is in the crisper drawer.
Instructions
Toss the chicken with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and the cornstarch and let it sit for 10 minutes.
