The bowl presses the fruit inside out, forcing out far more juice than squeezing by hand, while the holes catch seeds and most of the pulp. The bowl is sized for limes and small lemons, the fruit you will be squeezing most often.
It is made from heavy-gauge stainless steel, not coated aluminum, so there is no paint to chip or peel into your food and nothing to rust. The handles have soft silicone grips, and the whole tool goes in the dishwasher.
